  3. Hi tony. For the past couple months I've been looking at different YouTube videos and sources about what camera to buy, and I've found yours to be the best! I've been looking into buying my first camera and I went ahead and bought a canon 70D since your review about it was so positive and awesome. But then I realized you said a beginners camera was best to start off with the rebel t3i. And I just wanted to ask, why is that so? Should I return my 70d and get my money back and just buy a t3i? Your opinion would mean a lot to me. Thanks tony !

  4. Don't forget to micro adjust the Tamron 150-600 to the camera body that your are testing it with. Its a great lense.. I have the Canon 400mm 5.6L and the Tamron 150-600mm and they both are great lenses. Of course the 400 prime has a tad bit more sharpness but the the Tamron is still a sharp lense at F8-F11..

  8. You two wanna' shoot my wedding?  $$ somewhat cheap, Just the ceremony, you can use it for a YouTube episode.. I can't take my own wedding pics ;-( but I can process them :-).  No seriously…. I'm serious.  Shoot it in micro 4/3.  That's my poison.   

  9. What kind of monitor are you guys using?  I am stepping up to a 27" for photo editing and have been looking at a Dell UltraSharp U2713HM and Samsung SyncMaster S27B971D.  Any advice or things to look for would be appreciated.  Thanks for the videos!

  15. i think you got hack into live, funny how chelsea said something about her hair looking like nick nottle then after your laptop having a little seizure like she explains around 40.37 min in then a picture of nick shows up at 41.27 unless that picture was on that persons website did anyone see this weird. lol.

  17. Love your show!  You mentioned (53:15) regarding the Tamron 150-600 "…in the Nikon world, under $3000 dollars, this is still going to be your best wildlife lens".  Did you forget about the new Nikon 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR AF-S ($2700)?  

    I'm "in the Nikon world", and I've been saving up and watching reviews trying to make sure I get the best I can for my "under $3000".  If the Tamron is actually close I could save quite a bit of cash.  However, in my mind the front runners are between the new Nikon 80-400 vs "Nikon AF-S 300mm f/4D ED-IF" ($1370) plus 1.4 teleconverter.  I love that you tested the IQ after cropping down, to show the shorter reach prime can be significantly better even against a much longer zoom. The 80-400 is reportedly very clear at 400mm, so I wonder how it compares to the 300mm f/4 prime cropped to compare?  It would be a fun shootout comparing these three ;).
