  1. Recently got the Nikkor to upgrade from my kit lens as it looked like as nice safe choice. Like the review it's a nice sharp lens that does suffer from a bit of barrel distortion but what I find most annoying is the chromatic aberration other than that very happy with it.

  2. Was hoping to buy the nikkor for low light filming. Does anyone know how it fairs with this? I just need it to supplement the standard 18-55 mm that comes with the D5300 that I want to buy. Would appreciate anyone who can help.

  3. 35mm 1.8 Nikon is great; all I want is to click and get a great jpeg pic instantly no waste of time with lightroom, raw, photoshop and nonsenses; I would never want to waste time with modification of picture and pretending that I actually did that; either you get it while shooting or you don't.
