  1. Hi, loving the video. Will see more tomorrow. At around the 9:30 point you asked to touch the "I" button to focus on everyone's eyes and a silly face would appear on bottom left. That didnt happen for me. Every time I pressed "I" the rating menu came up. Any idea why? Thanks in advance!

  2. Hi Tony,
Can you please help me to get more than 1/200 sync speed on Nikon D5500 with YONGNUO YN968N.
since D5500 doesn't have AUTO FP, Should I use any external device, to get 1/8000 sync speed ?

  3. Tony I am a quadriplegic lookinng to return to photography after a 15 ear hiatus. I rank myself as an amateur, formerly a Nikon film guy, but new to DSLR. I've been using my iphone for a few years but it isn't nearly enough for me. I have more mobility than the word "quad" might conjure up to you but limitationns on fine motor skills are very significant. I am thinking about a D5500 due to the touch screen (I would probably use a knuckle) alhough I thinkk I could handle most of the regular fuctions with limited grace. The camera would always have to be tri-or monopod mounted, braced on my wheelchair seat. Do you have any experiencne with disabled photographers or recommendations to make?

  4. Hi. I have 700 pics on my D5500 and I do not want to Lose or Erase a single one of them by accident. I do Not the the the sd card formatted but as I understand it, my photos are safe on my camera. What do you suggest?

  5. After wandering around wasting my time on other tutorials, I found you. I appreciated your step by step comprehensive overview. it is good to have the information delivered in a systematic way. i practiced right after and was amazed at the results. thank you. i intend to send for your books and videos. i look forward to them and expect to make quicker progress than i have for the last 20 years. (I'm also ADD!) thank you for giving yourself so generously. your voice and posture were calming. i got hyperfocused all day.

  6. The Northrop’s rule! I’ve had this camera for several months, and this video taught me a whole lot more about this wonderful camera. I will be buying their book today, as well. Keep up the fantastic work!

  7. Most info on the D5500 I’ve see. Have seen your comparison videos too. I am an experienced amateur shooter and greatly appreciate your honest opinions. Bought the D5500!!! Touchscreen , WiFi without adaptor (D3300 needed one I’ve had it ) focus points and my existing Nikon lenses carried the day. Thanks
