Decision made!! I currently own a 5DMKii and a T7i. I was literally about to sell both and get a 5DMKiii but decided to do a bit a research. Your comparisons made it easy for me to keep what I have and avoid the hassle of selling. Both cams serve me well based on what I shoot. PLUS I can keep the clicks down by splitting the workload :-D! Thanks for the very informative review! Off topic, the T7i is an excellent choice for low light shooting as well..

1:45 minute into the video and I'm wondering how on earth you see less noise in the 5Dii? It seems obvious to me the 5Diii has far less noise and more resolution. Maybe it's my screen but I'm not sure

Hey Tony, have you ever tried back button focus with the 5DII? Where you doing BBF back then?

These tests dont really show substantial evidence of the actual cameras abilities versus the person taking pictures with them. The pixel pushing is informative but his choice of settings may have affected the images qualities.

If your exposure is low than on another shoot – of course you will have more NOISE. Make shots on same exposure.

Hmmm. I'm thinking about upgrading from 7D to 5D Mark 2 or 5D Mark 3. There's significant difference in price and 5D Mark 2 and 3. I plan on shooting weddings, guests at a hotel (hotel or tourism photography) and I also enjoy shooting birds in flight and some sports (mainly cycling). Considering what I plan to shoot mark 3 is clear winner but the price difference is really giving me a big problem. Really hard to make a decision. For lenses I plan on buying 70-200 F4L IS USM, 24-105 f4L IS USM and 50mm stm lenses to start with.
