I think the Sony A350 is better. The design looks more nice, tiltable screen, nice auto focus and better hold when taking pictures.

Mine also didn't come with the extra zoom of 55-200mm lens and card adapter and my base price, i think, is even higher GBP475 🙁

One comment I have for this camera is it's extremely loud. Was in a art museum the other day. Noise echoed everywhere.

Eleven years after it was introduced, the A350 still takes great photos that hold up to many of today's cameras. The biggest difference today is light sensitivity and video capability. But outdoors, you'll be hard pressed to see the differences between photos from the A350 and the newer cameras with even as high as 24 Megapixels.
