  1. Tony…. I just finished watching your intro to Olympus omd em1 mk2. I bought the camera yesterday and I must say your video is simply brilliant. It is a fast track to understanding the camera……Your friendly approach is like having a best friend patiently explain the technology to someone that struggles….many thanks…..

  2. The “thingies” on the UHS-2 card are called “contacts.” No one mentions that these cards are only good for JPEG because they dump slower than a fast UHS-1 95mbs card; so, if you shoot mostly JPEG don’t waist the money.

  3. Wow! Tony! This is an amazing tutorial. Thank you for doing this. I actually purchased the camera and was scared shiteless about really getting into it. Happy new year and all the best to you and Chelsea. jan

  4. Hi ! A very full review of (my) Olympus E-M1 MkII… Thanks. I saw all that vIdeo… My favorit shootings are nightscape pictures… In France. Dark skies GREAT here. like so much the Live Composite mode !! Hello from South of France, called Provence… Friendly, best regards.

  5. Thanks for this video. I just bought OMD-E-M1 Mk II and it hasn't even arrived but now I feel like I have a head start on how to navigate the functions. This was super helpful.

  6. Great explanation of video. I've owned this camera for a few years and just went back over the tutorial as im off to Alaska,Bahama's and mexico soon. I actually forgot a few setings and this help me remember them. Thanks

  7. At 1:35, I'm not sure how the math gets from 13-25mm f/1.2 to 29-57mm f/2.8. Shouldn't those values simply be (roughly) doubled? –as Tony does in the next scene (1:36) where the FF equivalent values are calculated from 35-71mm f/1.2 to 71-143mm f/2.8?

  8. OMG! Keeping up with this overview video tutorial is overwhelming from a beginner's point of view, yet the tutorial is on spot. For all beginners. If you feel the lesson is too fast then slow down the playback speed in the YouTube menu (3 dots in the upper right corner). Tony covers a lot of helpful information for this camera. Thank you Tony (2 years later)… Actually Thank You! Chelsea and Tony for the YouTube tutorials.

  9. Hi Tony,

Super video, many thanks fort hat.

Now I have a question, that for the Focus Bracketing under "Focus BKT" the option "Set number of shots, is not active" and so I can not enter any number of shots. Can you please inform me under which program do I have to go to activate the submenu mentioned?

I would be very grateful for your help!

    thanks and regards
