Did you guys put the inspire 2 up for sale already?
I feel bad for those sony 85 1.8, sigma 18-35 1.8 and canon 70-200 2.8
I'm looking for a 1.4x teleconverter 😋
Very happy with k.e.h. my new (used but new to me) sigma 50mm 1.4 lens is sweet. Great condition. Sharp lens.
Wow that's a lot of gear. Thanks for the tip on KEH as I never heard of them before watching your video. 😎
So much gear, so little time …
Oh the amount of giveaways you do do with all that gear….
KEH gave me a quote of $94, today, for a Sony HDR-CX675 camcorder in excellent condition with battery & charger. I just wanted to see what their quote would be. I had sold that camera this week on eBay for $265 plus shipping. How long had it been listed ? All of 6 days !! Is that a "fluke" ? NO. I've had the same experience numerous times. All of these stores — like KEH, Adorama, B&H, will give you anywhere from 25-50% of what you can get on eBay or Craigslist…. And as far as "scammers" and "counterfeit money" — it is vastly overstated and 99% of the time, you will never encounter it…. And when you do, eBay and PayPal will be successful in intervening in a vast majority of cases. It is a myth propagated by the stores — that scammers, thieves and counterfeiters are lurking everywhere…. The camera dealers are more unscrupulous than the worst used car dealers. People that use them are either rich, lazy, uninformed or not too bright.
Another example — KEH offered me $153 for a Sony FDR-AX53 in excellent condition w battery & charger. LOL — These sell for $850-1000 new on Best Buy, B&H, etc… They regularly sell used on eBay for $550-650. I would guess Tony probably wasted about 10-15K because he didn't want the "headache" of waiting a bit longer and doing some work posting these items…
Selling the Anafi OMG ! I use mine all the time, it's true I wish the transmission was better, but I still loving it, great shots from it !
I want to work at KEH !
I would have given that that 7D Mark II a good home.
Thanks again for the video now I know a safe place to get working film cameras from.
I love the tips but whatever camera your recording on has a really slow focus… It's giving me headache.
Looks like your vlog cam doesn’t have dual pixel auto focus.
Check your sponsors reviews before taking them. Every one of the yelp reviews for selling gear to KEH is extremely negative. I have had a very negative experience after I saw this video and sent them my gear. Basically they adopt bait and switch tactics by giving extremely attractive quotes and making it easy to ship your stuff to them but change the quote drastically without any clear explanation and there is no way to get your gear back even though they claim you can reject the offer and they will ship it back. What they don't tell you is there is no option to reject the offer on the website and you will not be able to get a hold them with email or calling. You have lost me as a viewer forever because of this.
I love KEH. I bought a Canon New F-1 system with the AE Finder FN, AE Motor Drive FN, and spot, center metering screens. They also repaired my Canon A-1 and Sunpak 522 flash
KEH came through my town last week and did a buying event at our local camera shop. I moved a few old cameras and some newer gear too. Could I have got more on eBay? Probably. But having a one stop shop that gives you decent prices for used camera gear is wonderful. I’d do it again in a heartbeat, and this week I’m thinking there are a few additional lenses I should have got rid of.
Dunno why, but I really have a soft spot for the 18-55 kit lens. I guess it just reminded me all the passion, excitement and all the "trouble shooting" when I first started photography
How does Keh Camera compare with selling to Adorama or BH?
KEH is a camera only pawn shop. Stop exaggerating Tony.
Holy cow the autofocus on this video is so slow it's giving me a headache. If I was KEH, I'd say, "OK, take 2."
I love that KEH pays for shipping. I sent them my D500, 200-500 and 70-200 VR with no shipping charge. That was a heavy box. They really make it easy.
They pay half or less than the gear is worth. It's a great deal for KEH/Adorama/B&H etc.
