How hard was it to talk into the camera about stuff knowing no one is there? Was it easy to start you're first video? How many times a week do u post? I also want to quit my job, but I can't, but I do want to make a YouTube channel about my fitness journey from drinking alcohol everyday, to getting back into good shape, but I'm nervous, don't know how to start it, feel like I will sound stupid or look stupid, what's a good way to get over this? any tips would help..

Thank you so much for the inspiration Pete! I can't believe how much I can relate to his story. Being a life long skier and mountain biker from Bend, OR… Both Photography and Videography have always been something I've had in the back of my mind thanks to production companies like Matchstick, but as a kid, I always said I wanted to be the athlete instead of the photographer and I was far too focused my skiing and mountain biking skills to want any camera gear. Also, every time I thought about it, I was overwhelmed by how much there is to learn so I guess I just wasn't ready yet. I'm really glad I finally took the leap and bought my first camera a few weeks ago, and just as you said, the more I learn, the more my interest/passion grows! I appreciate everything you have taught me about this lifestyle! Super pumped :)!

I'm scared, really scared that I might not be able to do what I want to do, which is Cinematography. However in spite of that I still try my best, I hope it does happen.

It's 2019. I'm 30 years old and it's taken me this long to realise photography and filmmaking is what I need to do in my life. It's what sets my soul on fire and working 9 to 5 in a job I don't love but pays well is not good enough for me. So I am sloooowly making photography and video my job. Gotta do what you love, otherwise what is even the point!?
