  1. Hi Matti I've bought a Parrot Anafi but it just to flimsy and others who have it had issues and broken the arms… so I'm looking at Mavic Air but I want it solely for follow me mode, so is the Mavic Air any good for cycling down mountains and also fat biking on beaches .. cheers Wayne

  2. Awesome video. I will get the mavic pro just because I already have the spark so I don't think it will make sense to buy a drone like the spark again, the pro is the ultimate. Just my opinion.

  3. I love how I break down peoples edits… realizing that you've had to set your camera up at the solar panel to come and go into the scene which means that you had to basically leave and comeback like 4 times… yea it takes a lot to do these videos man lol

  4. I'd agree with all the comments about the image quality being awesome but it doesn't work well in hot weather. On a recent trip to Georgia the image on my mobile kept getting laggy so i couldn't really see what i was filming. I also lost signal quite a few times. I tried the drone yesterday in England at +24 degrees and the drone was much better and didn't lose the signal much either.

  5. Good review. i want to complete it: all should know that DJI customer services is a complete shambles and the warranty useless. Just the matter of a defect usb-mini adapter needed for charging will not be taken care off. This I emailed to them just now: Go to hell (I stay polite) That is 3 weeks for this minor issue And you do absolutely NOTHING Just asking for more and more questions about answers I gave before.

  7. Thanks for your review! It's really helpful. I am about to buy this Mavic Air. Just curious when you mentioned about wick connection flying a drone while driving in the car. How do you solve that?

  8. that gimbal reaction is NOT normal.. you may want to contact support! they can review the drones logs and find out whats going on with your wifi and gimbal! PS.. sport mode, it moves and you can also configure your settings for more sensitive reactions. 😀 out of the box though, it is a bit slowish. Great review

  9. Just Sub . Sub back my friend. Your not too late to review any drone. My Mavic Air is only come to me next week. Flying in the high winds is a No no for the spark or Air. Excellent video brother. God bless from Ireland. Eamon.

  10. Great video Matti! Have you tried to adjust the gains of the controls? It might help in tight situations… I think the drone gimbals are DJI's weak spot. I've flown quite a lot with their drones and they very usually have problems with gimbals… Luckily those problems usually go past with a reboot. But not always.

  11. Hey, was that Sweden shot from Stora Sjöfallet / Sourva (the Laponia area)? It looked like it was, and that would be a nice surprise for me (living nearby). Anyway, I agree with most of this review. The Mavic Air is great. Easier to fly than the Mavic Pro – but very newbie-friendly. And with great photos/videos. Just a great piece of hardware!

  12. I’m not sure if you even tried that thing in sport mode cause I can’t believe you think the air is slow and unresponsive. Bro I put mine in sport mode and holy hell that thing is super quick and responsive. And also it’s also one of the safest drones on the market cause of all the sensors on it. I tried several times to crash mine and it just wouldn’t let me.

  13. Matti I have watched a lot of your vids lately. Thanks so much for them, they have helped a lot. One thing I would like to ask is what settings you would recommend for the Mavic Air?

  14. I chose the Mavic Pro in Alpine White. I have not used either. But just from a simple standpoint, the Mavic Pro is already portable enough for me. Why did I choose it over the air? I got it on Ebay for a better price than the Air. To me, range and battery is everything, but connectivity is as well. Occusync is supposed to be that much more stable and frankly if I'm spending a lot of money on a drone, I plan on keeping it but also sending it to places I myself cant go. While the Air seems to have superior sensors and camera to some extent, I think its negligible and if you only on flying your drone to the edge of the city or over the mountains, the clear winner is something with a strong connection, standalone controller that has information display and can be used safely without a phone or tablet in case something screws up, and longer lasting battery and longer range. If I wanted to mess around in the park and go around the local area seeing what's up, I guess the Air would suffice just fine. If the Air and the Pro were the same price, I think a lot of people would be picking the Pro over the Air, perhaps. Let's not get into the pro 2 or Zoom because it's like, well what's 200 more for the X model, well for 300 more than that you can get the Y model, and soon you're making a $700.00-$900.00 leap to consider the Z model. For its class, Air probably rocks, but for almost the same price if you're good with Ebay, you can get a higher cost drone for not that much more

  15. For someone who is buying his first drone and he wants to get into travel video would you recommend getting the Mavi Pro or the Mavic Air? Or maybe save up and get the Mavic Pro 2? Thanks
