  1. I'm new to photography, and I got a Canon T6i. But things in this industry confuse me, especially Canon. None of their cameras are great at everything. For the money, I feel like they should be. I feel like Canon might be the Apple of photography. Great ecosystem, enough to make it hard to switch once you're invested, but a seeming lack of total effort because, well, they'll still make money cuz they're the largest. Just my thoughts.

  2. Wow you are in my home town London. For photography the Canon system will be the one we go for. We are looking at the Nikon option too. Great review Thanks for sharing, Tony & Laura. This is handy, just seen a video of your Canon vs Nikon

will watch it now thanks again

  3. Tony please just tell me why canon image's size is too small I have canon 5d mark 4 and D810 one photo of my canon have 6.4MB or even going much higher it hit 10MB , but with my Nikon is will be 23.4MB … and we all know Nikon D810 Have 34MP and canon 5D mark 4 Have 30MP how it possible Nikon image size have 3 or 4 time bigger than canon image and the only different between them is 4MP …. I spend 2600$ for the canon but Nikon is 2100$ … I am going to get crazy about that … please just help me just tell me is there a problem with my canon ?

  4. Hello Chelsea and Tony, Many thanks for the unbiased opinions regarding Canon EOS MK IV. I was going to buy it, now I will not.
Please, could you tell me what type of HDMI Cables do I need for 5D MK II, 5D MK III and 7D MK II? I appreciate if you could differentiate and leave a link please, Thank you. Best wishes

  5. When he said " is not good for landscapes as the Pentax K-1" and then he showed that landscape he shooted with the Pentax I understood that this is not a fair review. If that is a good landscape picture ban me.

  6. Hi love the videoss ! I was wondering for weddings would you use 5ds-r over 5d mark 4 ? especially in how light in church where 99% of time no flash aloud. Thanks in advance Rob

  7. This is a bit of a revelation: The Olympus and Panasonic cameras I use get ignored and trashed as M43s last stand, yet they have tremendous capabilities at a fraction of the cost. You're smiling, and holding this Canon like a kid getting it for the holidays. I manage easily with three M43s in my pelican back pack with five lenses, all razor sharp. Image stabilization that means I rarely ever need a tripod, even for video. I suppose this is just condition gratification for you; the full frame mantra, the excitement of tiny improvements, the fun of holding something new: the review will get a lot of viewers, because there will be debate. But the debate seems to me about which $5 Hotdog should I buy, when I can instead get a $3 Steak. 🙂

  8. seriously this was a pretty bad review, its like he tought he would get a mirrorless camera but got a dslr. its a 5d4, a camera for profesionells that need a reliable camera in…edit just like he said in the review in the end lol.

  9. I have to disagree with this review, each time you compare the 5D to completely different systems, and each of their most desirable features. Its slower then a 1dxII, its not as light as a Fuji, it doesn't have as many pixels as a 5DSr, it doesn't have the dynamic range of the Sony. How is this even fair or relevant. Its like me saying this car is horrible, it doesn't off road like a Range Rover, its way slower then a Ferrari and doesn't seat as nearly many people as a Escalade. This is clearly a bias and misleading review.

  10. I had the Mark ii and there is no comparison. This one is so much better. The low light is what makes it so much better to me. You can do 6400 ISO and not even get that much grain. 6400 is not even close to pushing it. Go higher and images still hold together nicely.

  11. WARNING: FOR ALL YOU POCKET WIZARD USERS OUT THERE AND MOST PROS USE THEM. THIS MODEL DOES NOT WORK WITH POCKET WIZARD. CANON DESIGNED IT TO NOT WORK WITH POCKET WIZARD. IF I WOULD HAVE KNOWN THIS I WOULD NOT HAVE BOUGHT THIS MODEL. ALL MY OTHER CANONS DO WORK WITH POCKET WIZARD. DO NOT BUY THIS MODEL GUYS. I WISH I HAD NOT AND I AM GOING TO TRY AND RETURN MY 5D MARK IV SINCE I HAVE JUST OWNED IT FOR A WEEK NOW. I WISH SOMEONE DOING REVIEWS ON THIS CAMERA WOULD HAVE TOLD US THIS.

  12. The Canon 5D Mk II is a giant leap… down. Disappointing. Lots of can’t-live-without-them features that other cameras have that Canon needed to incorporate. If Sony ever comes out with a professional camera body, I’m defecting. Maybe it’s time to switch.

  13. I was on the verge of going for a 6D ii until watched your reviews. Then focused on a used 5Diii until I realised they are getting a bit old by 2019. With a collection of Canon lenses I feel drawn to the 6D iv after watching you review all these cameras.
No interest in video at all.
Hope my final choice is sensible 🤔?
Trying out a 6D iv for a day from a retailer to see how it goes on a Portrait class before splashing out.
