  1. Found this very interesting, it shows that with some confidence you can talk to strangers and take their photos. I have already improve my street photography and enjoying it (with an Xpan!)

  2. The pictures are fine, but his way of taking them are a bit too forced… If he wants to do that, fine, he's just having fun with it. But it kinda becomes just a bunch of people posing. – That's all I think of it. – I prefer the more fly-on-the-wall, almost "spy" type of images. – There's also such a thing as TOO close and having the subjects too involved. When they're part of the shoot, or in the act of a photoshoot, then why bother walking on the streets? – You might as well just set up like a booth and ask random people for shots in front of a backdrop or whatever.

  3. He took a moment to ask those strangers to walk together and totally owned it. People forget the story telling aspect of street photography and I'm sure both Eric and subjects probably had a good laugh about it later. The negative comments are silly. It is still a candid moment.

  4. You guys are great. Everybody has something negative to say while they sit at home . Any way I prefer my m2 with a light meter attached on my hotshoe. I can take a reading without lifting it to my eye and I am set for a shot. The m2 is like a tank too

  5. I know this video is old, but I just came across it while researching the Leica M6 cos I'm thinking to buy one. However, Eric mentioned a street photography workshop in Tokyo. I'm living in Tokyo now and was wondering if I could get some info on that? I'd greatly appreciate it.

  6. NYC photogs are huge dicks and they put flashes in your face… idk where your from but WhoTF asks for permission…if you are in public than it’s your right to take photos. I’ve seen a street guy also get knocked over while standing in the middle of a cross walk lol

  7. STOP putting background music to videos with narration .. it ONLY makes it HARDER to hear what you are saying and is VERY distracting … EVERYONE STOP DOING THIS.. we are NOT here to listen to music !!
